the capacitor is to stored power. The more then the more u can store . But if  you store more but didn't use that much also no point . So pivot got for big capacitor. How VS works? When the voltage is high it will go into the capacitor and store inside. When the voltage is low then power will be consumed from VS. So you got a stable voltage entire your journey.
